An illustrated talk by author Brian Edwards.

7.30pm, Wednesday 15th April, at Welwyn Evangelical Church

Author Brian Edwards will present an illustrated talk on the life and work of the English reformer William Tyndale, the first person to translate the New Testament into English from the original Greek and much of the Old Testament from the Hebrew.

Set in the turbulent years of Henry VIII and the English Reformation this is a story of sacrifice, exile, secret agents, betrayal and martyrdom. Behind it all was the determined conviction of a great scholar to provide a Bible in English for everyone to read.

All are welcome to attend this free event.

A book table will be available where copies of Brian’s book can be purchased at half the cover price.
