Open to School Years 8 – 13, Welwyn’s Rendezvous Group has for many years sought to introduce young people to faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. By making the Bible central to the meeting, Rendezvous also aims to prepare young people with faith in Christ to live as His disciples in the wider world – a world that is perhaps more complicated and daunting than at any other time.
Following a summer re-boot, Rendezvous now meets at a Group leader’s home on the first Saturday of the month from 7.30 – 9.00pm, and would typically include the following activities:
- Fun games
- An activity such as making and sharing food – like a summer BBQ – or celebrating special events in the calendar like Easter, Harvest, Remembrance and Christmas.
- An age-appropriate talk to help unpack and understand the Bible
We are a friendly, relaxed group. We have lots of experience between us of working alongside young people. We are here to support and help your children navigate a fallen world that has turned its back on God.
